NUS Centennial 100km Cycle
Centennial 100km Cycle(18/9)
Dr William Tan, renowned for his charity drives through his involvement in cycling events will attempt to rally 100 cyclists to cycle 100 km round Singapore. These cyclists will undertake a pledge card of minimum $50.00 to help raise funds. To create additional excitement, Dr Tan will attempt to set a Guiness Record for the fastest time to complete an Ultramarathon.
Due to the event above,i joined cheer dance to cheer for Dr.Willliam Tan when he was completing his Ultramarathon. He paralysed when he was 2 years old, so he was actually using his wheelchair to complete 100km cycle -- wheelathon.
There were eight of us in the cheer team, we cheered for him off and on for the whole run. We did accompany him to run for a few tracks, really tired. I am totally admired him as he is very strong and honoured. Can you imagine a person finished 100km cycle in 7.30 hours???How sturdy and formidable he is!!!! His spirit is everlasting.

I felt lucky as i could run with him and cheer for him. He is such a nice and kind-hearted guy....i should learn from his living spirit...Do things till the end..never say give up easily but to try our very best!!!!!tyng...jia you ohh!!!!!<
