i stay in weber state,odgen. it is actually nothing much there,no shopping centres,only one mall nearby(but still need to take bus,costs USD1.40),no pubs,no clubs,no playgrounds...only supermarket,smith's..so we always go to smith's to do grocery shopping..that is the only thing we can do and the nearest supermarket..well,we actually do a lot of grocery shopping because we plan to do cook for ourselves..the food here is extremely expensive and all are fast food restaurants selling hamburgers..sianzz..in smith's(just like carefour in singapore and malaysia.

we usually buy istant food other than instant noodles..onli USD0.93b or USD0.74 per packet..so we had bought a lot of instant food..and the milk here is cheaper,USD0.51 per litre..after coming to USA,i eat a lot!!!especially chocolate,biscuits and yogurt..i am crazy of that!!3 bar of chocolates just for USD0.99,and yogurt USD 1.87.....and the yogurt,chocolate and biscuits there are much more nicer...very yummy!!i must become very fat after coming back from usa if i keep eating those chocolates and biscuits, me must be influenced by my roommate,yvonne,she likes chocolates and biscuits very much..we eat together most of the time..haha!!!!
the hostel that i stay is students' hostel in weber state university..since now is summer holiday,most of the students move out,and that's y we have place to stay..sometimes the police wil come to our apartment to patrol to make sure that we dun drink alchohol..funny right???have u all ever heard that we cannot drink in USA evern u are above 21?? it is illegal in utah..according to the pollice..we are not allowed to drink along the street except in pubs or clubs...from what i know is utah state is controlled by mormons (christians),so they are very strict with these kind of stuff...they usually dun go out on sunday..sunday is just like their family day or church day...so there is no bus service on sunday so we cannot go out on sunday:(..sigh..as a result,there are not much customers in lagoon on sunday...so it is quite sad that utah is not a happenning state..no night life..quite boring...but the scenery is very beatiful..u can find hills and mountains everywhere..u can feel that u are surrounded by all those breathtaking hills and mountains...haha!!!well,i wil enjoy the scenery here although there are not much buildings here..all the buidings here are one storey..no skyscrapers..so it is like undeveloped state as compared to new yotk city...so..i am longed for going to new york...yahoooooo!!!work hard and earn more 1st!!!
