9 days trip
Day 1 in las vegas (12/6)Sunday
Early in the morning, we left weber state,ogden at 7 am. Eight of us wore the same T-shirt ( special gift from wellsfargo bank when we opened a checking account ) except huan liang ( our trip’s driver )…we actually traveled with a seven seater car,dodge (brand of the car)..it was quite new..hoo huuu!!!!
After driving for about six hours, we finally reached Las Vegas,Nevada...we were so excited…it was very different from utah state because it was quite a modern and developed city with all those skyscrapers. We stayed in the tallest building in Las Vegas, stratosphere.
Once we walked into the hotel, there were a lot of tables with customers playing cards. There was no main entrance for the casinos, it was like everyone staying in the hotel could enter to the casino.
But some of us were checked by the security guards in the casino because we looked young as compared to local people. Anyone below 21 years old could not stay in the casino for so long and could not gamble. Fortunately, I am 21 years old this year,haha!!!!! So I did play black jack and rollete….it was fun!!!! The minimum bet was USD 5 (nearly an hour salary) ..very expensive..in the end, I did not win any but lost USD 5…really shiok!!!! Can u all imagine tyng putting a chip in the gambling table?? ‘hao yao ying’..hehe!!!!
After checking in to the hotel, six of them( huan liang, keng hooi, kien tet, lik yuen, wan hua and esther) went to have a seafood buffet (USD16 per person) in the hotel while me and Yvonne would like to save some money and not too interested in seafood buffet, so we just walked around. We had our lunch in Mac Donald, we bought a dollar chicken sandwich..it was the cheapest food that we could find in USA…then, we shopped in a souvenir shop.
Around 9 o’clock, we went to stratosphere tower…it had nealy 103 floors and in the 103th floor, there was a rides, rocket. It was very scary..can u imagine u ride on the rocket in the 103th floors height…well, we did not take on that rides because it was quite expensive. From the stratosphere tower, the night scenery was very very nice…it was beautified by all the colourful lightings. Besides, I could see the whole pretty and sexy Las Vegas from that tower. After that, we went to ceasers palace ( another very famous casino), it was very different from stratosphere…the structural design and architecture were very unique..there was a theme for the whole building which was angels….u could see a lot of statues of the angles… after taking some photos, we went back to rest and started plaaning for our next day trip…huu uhhh!!!!!
Day 2 in las vegas (13/6,Monday)
In the early morning, we went to visit as many casinos as possible...we would like to experience the feel of entering casinos. We went to Wynn hotel- the biggest and newest in LV, MGM hotel- with lions inside(tourist attraction lah),cessars palace-with all those angels' statues as their themem of the hotel,stratosphere(where we stayed)- with the highes tower in LV...so i should say every hotel has their own unique and selling points.
At night, six fo us(me,esther,yvonne,hooi,teck n huan liang)went to watch adult show (topless show)..the title was 'The bite'..it was the cheapest tickets (buy 1 free 1),so we just bought that show..Actually we were late there..and it was not as shiok as we thought ,maybe because we were late and the gals had already taken off their '......'*sigh*well...it was a nice show though...
esther and I wish to watch another show which would cost us USD100 ( man and woman show)it's mix!!! must be nicer and more shiok!!!haha!!!but unfortunately, we dun have $$...so it was one of our *yi han*....
Day 3 in las vegas (14/6.Tuesday)
We just took photos around in LV..they built some statues and buildings with very significant places like statue of liberty, paris tower,coca-cola and so forth...
Then,we move to our next station...Grand Canyon!!!!
day 4 in grand canyon (15/6,Wednesday)
We just stayed one night in flagstaf...because all the challet had been booked...
actually if we did not think of hiking..spending one day in grand canyon was just nice(enough)...there was not much difference of scenery from different view point,so i said it was enough for 1 day...anyway..it was so grand...and really very nice....u might think that u were looking at a picture but actually u were looking down millions of craved pinacles and spires.....i had no idea how it was being form since it was a natural canyon...maybe i should find out!!!later lah!!^^
day 5 in zion (16/6,Thursday)
Zion national park is another ideal place for hiking....we just took photos around on the first day because we decided to hike for the next day!!!it was wasted if we din go hiking....most of the tourist like to hike in zion rather than in grand canyon because grand canyon is much more dangerous...*pa pa*
day 6 in zion (17/6,Friday)
Hiking day!!!! we took different trail from the guys(yvonne,HL,teck n hooi)...sorry,von!!have to consider u as guy because u always said that u all are "xiong di"...haha!!!esther,lik yuen, wan hua n i take other easier trail...it was fun too!!!!ohh noo..i was getting to love hiking....love nature!!!!
day 7 in bryce (18/6,Saturday)
it was another canyon.....different from grand canyon and zion national park....these 3 places are the most famous national parks....what i like most was the view in grand canyon,then bryce canyon and the last one is zion...it's because zion national park is more like hills with green grass which i can get it here...^^well,of course there are big difference from ours lah..but i just dun like the overall colour of the park.....for bryce and grand canyon, it was brownny and looked very different from what i had seen in my country....so i was quite aprreciate that!!!!

day 8 in antelope island (19/6,Sunday)
back to weber state!!!antelope island is near weber lah...we just did not want to go back to work....wanna spend one more day to travel...so we decided to go to antelope.....it was just sea and beach...not very nice....i think redang is much more better that that...but the area is quite big!!!!
day 9 in park city (20/6,Monday)
Shopping day!!!! all the branded factory outlets are located in park city.....one and a half hour journey from weber.....i like shopping ma...u know...we all ran for this store to another store...really rush!!!!scared of no time to shop....hahaa!!!
actually we were not satisfied because of the time constraint....we got to leave earlier to return our rented car..(SUV)Dodge-seven seaters car!!!!aih...after that...back to work liao!!!!!and NO MORE cars!!!!
